Ivy Park Sequined Sweatsuit & Review

February 25, 2019

About a year ago I got my first pieces from Beyonce’s Ivy Park line. I’ve pretty much been obsessed with the brand ever since. Athleisure looks have become my jam over the past couple of years so I’m often scoping out cute, functional, and high quality items. Last year Nordstrom was having a sale on some Ivy Park pieces so I bought a couple things – a top and a pair of leggings.

When they arrived I was immediately impressed with the quality. They were stylish, yet durable, felt good on my skin and still allowed me to move. I’ve worn both items frequently both in and out of the gym and they have held up nicely. The top was on sale for a little under $25 and the leggings were on sale for just under $50. More expensive than Forever 21 or TJ Maxx but cheaper than other brands like Carbon 38. The higher price point is reflected in the quality of the pieces though (at least for the items I’ve bought). Since then I’ve also added a sweatshirt, a pair of sweatpants, and this matching sequined sweatsuit to my Ivy Park collection. I have been living in this sequined sweatshirt this winter y’all. So cozy and comfy. And the fun thing is that the sequined logo is reversible.

This sweatsuit will make a great travel outfit. In fact I’ll be taking it with me on my upcoming birthday trip this fall. If you want a comfy chic look you can pair it with naked sandals like I did in some of these photos or you can style it with some glitter Keds for a playful yet casual look. Either way though people will be staring (in a good way of course).

The elasticized legs also make it a practical travel outfit. When you use the airport/airplane bathroom yuck, I know) you don’t have to worry about your pants sagging on the floor because the legs are elasticized.

So if you’re in the market for athleisure or workout pieces and you haven’t already, check out Ivy Park. The fit, style, and quality of all the pieces I’ve purchased so far have been great. I’ve purchased them all from Nordstrom by the way. I always wait until they go on sale because retail is for suckers!

Which option do you prefer? Styled with the naked sandals or glitter Keds? And do you own any Ivy Park pieces? What are your thoughts on the brand? Let me know in the comments below!
