Happy New Year Everyone! I hope 2019 has been treating you well. My first post of the year is a simple, healthy, and delicious salad recipe. Truthfully, I came up with it when I had an assortment of random ingredients in my fridge that I didn’t want to spoil. Sometimes you create the best recipes this way. The list of ingredients is short and I realized as I was typing it up that it’s vegan. Where to Eat in NOLA

This was the most exciting (and stressful) part of planning my trip. Where to eat in NOLA?! With so many amazing restaurants in NOLA where does one begin. What helped was having an idea of the kinds of food I wanted to try. Beignets were a must as was food you tend to think of when you think about NOLA (think gumbo or po’boys) but I also wanted to find something a little off the beaten path.
