Not Winter, Not Spring

March 6, 2017

Happy Monday Guys!

How was your weekend?

I spent most of mine working in this really cool (and pretty) library on NC State’s campus (check out my insta for pics). Environment makes all of the difference when you’re studying/working. I’m looking forward to going back this weekend (yes, I’m aware that makes me a dork – I own it!)

On to this weird weather we’re having. On the one hand I definitely see some bits of spring – flowers are starting to bloom and pollen is settling on my car (ugh). But then there are days of temps in the 50s followed by days with temps in the 70s. And even on the days with temps in the 70s, they start off with temps in the 40s and 50s. What’s a girl to wear??

Might I suggest a midi skirt in a classic, feminine silhouette like the one I’m wearing. You can always incorporate some personality by opting for a fun color or an interesting print. To keep me warm I paired it with a faux leather jacket. Once the temps warm up you can easily take off the jacket off and look right on season. I got the midi skirt from Forever 21 and love it. I don’t wear it hardly enough. The top is from Old Navy, and both the shoes and the clutch came from Target.A little “definitely not winter, but not quite springtime” fashion inspiration for you.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!
